About the 40th Assembly District Committee

What is a Central Committee?

This District Central Committee is the official governing body of the Republican Party at the local level for a portion of Los Angeles County, representing Republican voters in California’s 40th Assembly District. This committee is a part of the Los Angeles County Republican Party (LAGOP). Members are elected by Republican voters during the primary election or appointed to fill vacancies. Serving on the Central Committee is a vital way to influence the direction of the party locally. Members help recruit and support Republican candidates, organize grassroots efforts, raise funds, register voters, and represent the Republican Party in their communities. The Committee also plays a key role in endorsing candidates, shaping party strategy, and ensuring that Republican values are effectively communicated and upheld throughout the district.
